FAQ
Why doesn’t my MRR match my billing system’s?
Section titled “Why doesn’t my MRR match my billing system’s?”Tools count MRR differently. Summerbase converts every price to a monthly amount, leaves out tax and one-off charges, and counts trials as zero until they convert. Usage-based prices aren’t counted yet. A subscription with an overdue invoice still counts while it’s active. See MRR.
Why did last month’s figure change?
Section titled “Why did last month’s figure change?”Summerbase treats a customer’s changes within a few days of each other as one, so a change early this month can still affect the end of last month. The number of days is a setting. See Metrics settings.
A customer canceled. Why do they still count?
Section titled “A customer canceled. Why do they still count?”By default, a customer churns when their subscription actually ends, not when they cancel. You can change this in Metrics settings under Count churn.
How long does the first import take?
Section titled “How long does the first import take?”It depends on how many customers and invoices you have. A banner shows the progress, and you can use Summerbase while it runs.
Can I edit a customer in Summerbase?
Section titled “Can I edit a customer in Summerbase?”No. Customers and subscriptions come from your sources, so change them there.
My figures are in the wrong currency.
Section titled “My figures are in the wrong currency.”Change the reporting currency in Metrics settings.
Can I delete a project, a source or my organization?
Section titled “Can I delete a project, a source or my organization?”Not in Summerbase. A source can be disconnected instead.
I lost an API key’s secret.
Section titled “I lost an API key’s secret.”It can’t be shown again. Create a new key and delete the old one. See API keys.
Is the API stable?
Section titled “Is the API stable?”Not yet. The API is in preview, and anything in it may still change.
