Sources
A source is where Summerbase gets your customers and subscriptions from, usually your billing system. Everything you see in Summerbase comes from a source. You can’t type customers in by hand.
Available sources
Section titled “Available sources”| Source | Use it when |

| Stripe | You bill through Stripe. |
| Custom source | You bill another way, and can send data from your own code. |

More than one source
Section titled “More than one source”A project can have several sources. For example, Stripe can handle most of your billing while a custom source sends the few customers you invoice by hand. A custom source can also add information Stripe doesn’t have, such as an account manager or an industry. See How your data fits together.
Adding a source
Section titled “Adding a source”In your project, go to Settings, then Sources, and choose Add source. Only admins and the owner can add sources.
Sources can’t be deleted. A connected source can be disconnected, which keeps everything it already brought in.
